Atomic Theater Presents "The Kiss"
A cozy holiday tale with all the charm of a Hallmark classic — and a few unexpected twists.
What better way to kick off the holiday season than with a Hallmark‑esque rom‑com that begins in a Christmas tree lot? They Kiss, a musical comedy written by Ken Crow and directed by Emily Liddy, opens November 6 at the Wheat Ridge Center for Music and Arts.
Are new beginnings possible for a plaid‑clad Christmas tree salesman dreaming of escaping small‑town life and a dissatisfied legal assistant recovering from a relationship gone south? When a series of mishaps and a sudden snowstorm trap them with a collection of quirky characters, including a fiercely loyal but blunt friend and one very serious police officer, deeper conversations unfold. In the glow of twinkling lights and shared circumstance, the group finds space to reflect on what the holidays truly mean to them. Blending humor, heart, and an original score, They Kiss offers the perfect launch to your holiday festivities.
This production is suitable for all ages.
